1. Michelin Primacy 4st

Primacy 4 wet braking comparison vs other premium competitor

Currently the Primacy 4 or 4st (as it is branded in Asia) is the best touring tire out there. This tire has won multiple press test awards while came in first for our Asian press test. It top the charts when it comes to wet/dry braking & rolling resistance while having a good wear performance. It also comes with a superior performance over life time over its competitors.

Strength: Wet/Dry braking, wet handling, rolling resistance & performance over lifetime

Weakness: Aquaplaning & price.

2. Continental Max Contact 6 MC6

Overview of MC6 features

MC6 clearly takes home 2nd place in our list. Consistently coming in second place in most of the performance criteria (only losing to Primacy 4) , it is safe to say it is the second best tire out there. It offers a much attractive price range as it is considerably (10-20%) cheaper than Primacy 4.

Strength: Dry braking & Cost

Weakness: Aquaplaning.

3. Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5

A very close 3rd place goes to Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 with its good dry and wet braking performance while having a very good expected mileage. Definitely worth a try if you like a sporty feeling and have a high expectation on wear.

4. Bridgestone Potenza RE003

The last of the premium tire ranking goes to Bridgestone Potenza RE003. This tire does not have the wet braking & mileage in comparison to the other 3 tires. It is however the best in class for dry handling. So if you are looking to max out your performance for handling at dry conditions, this tire would be the best.
