In my view, the Blizzak IcePeak is the stronger performer, offering better snow braking, acceleration, skid control and fuel efficiency. The DM-V2 remains a solid SUV winter tire with equal snow cornering grip, slightly longer mileage and a lower price. For maximum winter performance, I would choose the IcePeak; for proven capability and value, the DM-V2 still makes sense.
