The AVID Ascend GT is the better option for drivers who prioritise handling, winter performance, quietness and the lowest purchase price. Meanwhile, the AVID Ascend LX delivers balanced performance, but it does not clearly lead any major category.
Overall, I would choose the YK-GTX for the best long-term value, while the AVID Ascend GT is the more engaging and affordable alternative.
