Results below were taken from the Tire Rack’s “Touring all season road test. A total of 11 tires were tested this time around in Tire Rack’s own proving ground. The graph below shows the comparison between Bridgestone Turanza Prestige vs Bridgestone Turanza EverDrive based on the relevant performance category. The Bridgestone Turanza Prestige was set as a reference hence at the 100% mark. Note that for subjective evaluation, we equate 1 point as 5%. Wet

In wet braking, the Turanza Prestige stops 6 feet shorter than the Turanza EverDrive, translating to a 4% advantage. In wet handling, the EverDrive feels slightly better with a 0.13 point higher score, a 1% improvement, but this is very marginal. When it comes to actual performance, the Prestige is 1.32 seconds faster in lap time, which equals a 4% advantage.

Overall, while the EverDrive has a tiny edge in subjective feel, the Turanza Prestige clearly delivers stronger real wet performance, especially in braking and handling speed where it matters most.

Dry

In dry braking, both the Turanza Prestige and Turanza EverDrive stop at exactly the same distance, so there is no difference at 0%. In dry handling, the Prestige scores 0.06 points higher, which translates to a ~0% advantage, though this is extremely small.

Overall, dry performance between these two tires is essentially on par, with only a barely noticeable edge to the Turanza Prestige in handling feel.

In subjective snow handling, the Prestige scores 0.41 points higher, translating to a 2% improvement, and this is reflected on track where it is 2.53 seconds faster, a clear 4% advantage in lap time.

Overall, the Turanza Prestige delivers consistently stronger snow performance across all metrics, showing a clear edge over the EverDrive when traction and control in snow really matter.

On paper, the Turanza EverDrive clearly leads in durability. It carries a UTQG treadwear of 800 vs 700 for the Turanza Prestige, which is a ~14% higher rating, and this is supported by a longer 80,000-mile warranty vs 70,000 miles, also a ~14% advantage.

Overall, the EverDrive is clearly focused on maximum lifespan and long-term value, while the Prestige gives up some wear potential in exchange for a more balanced overall performance.

On the other hand, the Turanza EverDrive clearly stands out for maximum mileage, better comfort, and significantly lower price, making it the smarter pick for long-term value and daily commuting. Ultimately, it comes down to what you value more — performance balance or durability and cost efficiency.
